I’m interested in more details- What are the steps?

Meet Birth Photographer Heather Dimsdale

1) Complimentary Consultation

When finding a birth photographer it is so important to make sure that it is someone who you are going to be comfortable with. I mean it’s probably the most important thing you should look for! This consultation takes place after you inquire and is the time for us to determine if we are a good fit for each other (fingers crossed we are)! We will set a date and time that works for both of our schedules and the day of we will meet at my studio. At this time we will chat, get to know each other, and go into full detail what it is you are looking for.

2) Your Birth Plan & Delivery

Congrats! You decided to book and your due date is now on my calendar! You have officially taken the first step to capture the day your family starts! You should feel excited, and maybe even a little more anxious, for this day to arrive! I will send over an online contract and questionnaire. This questionnaire will give you a chance to go into full detail on what your birth plan is and important moments you wish to have captured.

Birth Album

3) BIRTH ALBUM

About two weeks after delivery, once you have had time to enjoy being at home, getting as many snuggles in as you can, I will send over a link for you to view your birth album. This will give you the chance to request any changes and to see just how beautiful your images are. I will then place the order and once it has been sent my way I will get with you on a date for pickup/delivery.

That’s it! In just three little steps, aside from actual delivery of course, that is all it takes to include me in your birth plan!
